Well Pumping Depletion Model

The Well Pumping Depletion Model (WPDM) is an adaptation of the analytical stream depletion model by Schroeder (Dewayne R., September 1987.  "Analytical Stream Depletion Model."  Office of the State Engineer, Colorado Division of Water Resources, Ground Water Software Publication No. 1).  The source code of the original model by Schroeder was written in BASIC language and ran within the DOS environment.  In order to run the depletion model in the Windows environment, the source code of the original model was re-written in VISUAL BASIC language using the MS Excel GUI.  Conversion of the original model to VISUAL BASIC required minor alterations to the source code.  The algorithms of the original model have been preserved such that the revised model functions identical to the original model.  The maximum number of pumping periods that can be simulated is 3,600, which equates to the following maximum number of years available for simulation:
